Moover provide entertainment services throughout Northern Ireland for a fixed fee including travel costs, based on a 3 to 4 hour set. Events outside Northern Ireland or longer gigs will be considered but will cost more. Each event is tailored to the requests of the customer, and typically we can cater for any kind of private event, anniversaries, birthdays, wedding parties or just light background music.
We can provide straight DJ services or alternatively we can MC some Barn Dance games / line dances or Cèilidh style swinging sets. Often the best nights are a combination of them all but it really depends on what you need, and what your crowd are up for. Examples of some of the typical game / dance names include Waves Of Troy, Long Way To Tipperary, Honeymoon Express, Elephant Walk, Strip The Willow, Push The Business On and many more!! You may recognise them from our JMS heritage.
The customer is free to choose the stye of music, or simply let us do our best work by going with what pleases the crowd on the night. Usually this will involve lots of cheesy pop music, but we can cater for all tastes from country, rock, dance, chart to classic hits and floor fillers.
Our Requirements:
- Space to work in - a stage is good but even a table at the top of a hall to setup our desk will be fine.
- A 240v power socket - we bring two 500 Watt Mackie speakers which are more than ample in all but enormous venues. A venue holding 500 people won't struggle to hear us. With notice and additional cost we can pre-check your venue and hire any additional equipment needed.
